Talk with your provider to find out if it's a good fit for your treatment plan.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe the sensation as tapping or light pulsing rather than painful. Sessions run under 30 minutes, with no downtime afterward.
Will it disrupt my daily life?
Not at all. You can fit Exomind into your existing routine, with no recovery time needed around a session.
How many sessions will I need?
Treatment plans are individualized based on your history and how you respond. Your provider will walk you through a recommended schedule during your consultation.
What are the risks and contraindications?
As with any medical treatment, there are risks and certain contraindications to be aware of. Your provider will review your full medical history and answer any questions before starting treatment.
Can teenagers receive Exomind?
Yes. Exomind is FDA-cleared as an add-on treatment for depression in patients aged 15–21. For patients under 18, a parent or guardian must be involved in the consultation and consent, and we coordinate with your teen's existing care team.
Does Exomind treat anxiety?
Exomind is FDA-cleared to reduce anxiety symptoms in adults whose depression hasn't responded to medication. It is not cleared to treat anxiety on its own. Your provider can help determine whether it fits your situation.
Do I need to stop my current medication?
No. For OCD and for adolescents, Exomind is used as an add-on to your current treatment. Never stop or change a medication without talking to the provider who prescribed it.
